I am an Assistant Teaching Professor in the Department of Economics at Miami University.

My primary fields of research are Economics Education, Public Economics, and Economics of Education. I am currently studying various ways to increase engagement in the classroom as well as the cross-border spillovers from educational investments in the U.S.

Before joining the faculty at Miami University, I spent four years as an Assistant Professor of Economics at Francis Marion University located in Florence, SC. I received my Ph.D. from the University of Kentucky in August 2017, M.S. in Economics from the University of Kentucky in December 2013, and B.S. in Mathematical Economics from the University of Dayton in May 2012.

I currently teach large sections of Principles of Microeconomics. In the past, I have taught courses in Intermediate Microeconomics, Principles of Macroeconomics, Labor Economics, Public Economics, Money and Banking, and Economics and Business Statistics.
