I am currently an Assistant Professor of Economics at Francis Marion University. I received a Bachelor of Science in Mathematical Economics from the University of Dayton in May 2012, Master of Science in Economics from the University of Kentucky in December 2013, and a Ph.D. from the University of Kentucky in August 2017.

My primary fields of research are Public Economics and Economics of Education. I am also interested in Behavioral Economics. I am currently studying the spillover effects of educational investments on labor market outcomes across state borders. 

I have taught courses in Principles of Microeconomics, Intermediate Economics, Principles of Macroeconomics, Labor Economics, and Economics and Business Statistics.
